Meet Albus, a goofy, happy go lucky 2-year-old setter looking for his forever home. Albus found himself in a full shelter, no one came to claim him off of his stray hold, baffling the shelter staff. This tall lanky boy has been thriving with his foster, and is loving living the good life. Albus is your typical high energy young setter and needs lots of exercise. He can clear a 4ft fence, and will require a secure 6ft fence or an electric fence. Albus would also do well in an apartment with proper exercise and mental stimulation! Albus is crate trained and house trained. He does like to jump and give “hugs” and is still learning not to jump. Albus, like most young setters, has not mastered the art of leash walking! He promises he’ll try his very best to master walking on a leash in exchange for some treats.

Albus loves everyone he meets, including children. He’s a crowd pleaser and everyone quickly falls in love with him. Albus enjoys going to the brewery patio and getting a lot of attention from admirers. He plays well with other dogs, including his small foster sister! He is very much a Velcro setter and loves to be as close to his humans as possible.

Albus is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. He is a tall lanky setter and still has a few more pounds to gain. He has a very healthy appetite and also loves treats!
