Sweet Hope is a small orange and white English Setter/Brittany girl that weighs in at 36 pounds of pure joy!! She came from a SC hunting preserve and is loving life as a family member. Her favorite indoor activities are snuggling in her foster mom’s lap and tossing her moose stuffy in the air.
Hope has adjusted well to being a house dog—only one accident since she joined us on February 18th, and she has not chewed any household items except one Kleenex.
Hope was ill when she left the shelter but is doing very well after getting appropriate vet care. Hope does have allergies that respond well to the Cytopoint injection.
This sweet girl would be joining our family except for one issue: Hope needs a 5-6’ wooden privacy fence that she cannot climb. Our 5’ chain-link fence is not adequate to keep her safe.
Hope loves people and other dogs (we don’t have kids or cats, but the shelter said she passed her cat test). Hope does very well riding in the car, sleeps quietly in her crate, and is working on leash training. She is an absolute joy.
