A Better English Setter Rescue

Meet Puzzle, a fun-loving little female Setter/Pointer Mix (we think!). Puzzle is approximately one year old and weighs about 35 pounds. She is spayed, and current with her vaccines as well as heartworm & flea prevention. She is 100% house trained. She is crate-trained and will easily crate for the night & sleep with minimal whining.

Puzzle is a complete love. She enjoys the company of her humans and will follow you, wanting to be wherever you are. 

Puzzle currently lives with a few setters and a doxie. For the most part she gets along with the resident dogs, but she can sometimes be dog selective. Puz also lives with cats and does well with them.

Puz knows how to sit, give-paw, come when called, and is working on down. She walks nicely on a leash and enjoys a walk. Puzzle loves car rides, either tethered or crated.
 

She’s an active gal who loves the yard and would need a fence, most likely at least 5 ft high, to keep her safe.
 

For outside fun she likes to run around the yard and point birds. She will even point our chickens if they are free-ranging on the other side of the fence! They sometimes come up to the fence to be nosey with whoever is out in the yard, and she seems fine with them.

Inside the house she enjoys chewing on her nylabones, and at night she likes her Nyla in her crate with a bit of peanut butter. She also likes chew toys, but doesn’t get to play with them much, since the resident setters like to chew them up! 
 

Puzzle loves every person she meets and would do well with just about anyone. In fact, she would like to meet YOU and show you how much she can love!!
