Waldo was found as a stray in Virginia and this sweet and loving boy was a day away from being euthanized when he was rescued. He enjoys running and playing in the back yard, then loves to snuggle on the couch. He is still working on learning about personal space as his preferred way to snuggle is face to face! Eventually he does settle down and will lay at your side.

Waldo gets along with his foster siblings but he would be fine as an only dog too. He hasn’t been around cats with us, but I think he did ok with them at the shelter. He has been around a couple of kids (ages 12, 10 and 3) that have visited and seemed to be fine. The biggest concern around kids is him not being good with personal space and getting in their face and knocking them down.

He does great in his crate, he sleeps in there all night and while we aren’t home. He goes in just fine and when its time for him to be let out he is just lying there quietly. During the day, he usually sleeps in a dog bed next to my desk or lounges on the couch.
