A Better English Setter Rescue

Jill is a beautiful 6-year-old English Setter who is discovering that life indoors is pretty amazing. After spending most of her life outside, she’s learning all about the finer things in life…soft beds, cozy couches, gentle belly rubs, toys galore and having her very own people to love.

She doesn’t quite understand toys yet. We’ve tried. Jill’s response seems to be, “You want me to do WHAT with that?” 😂 She’d much rather run at full speed outside, so a larger fenced yard or an active family would make her very happy.

But after her zoomies? She’s all about the cuddles. 🥰 Jill absolutely adores people and is especially sweet and gentle with children. She does well with other animals, although she may give them a little “excuse me, this is my cuddle time” growl if they get too close. 😂

She’s doing wonderfully with house training, is fantastic in her crate, sleeps peacefully there at night, and is working on her leash skills. She’s also a total champ for nail trims and ear cleanings!

Her recall is currently a work in progress… emphasis on progress. 😂

Jill is such a sweet mix of playful energy and tender affection. She’s learning what it feels like to have a warm home, a soft place to sleep, and people who love her — and watching her discover those little joys is pretty special. ❤️

She’s ready for a family who will let her run, learn, cuddle, and finally know what it feels like to be someone’s cherished girl. 🐾💕
