A Better English Setter Rescue

Looking for a low-maintenance sweetheart with international charm? Meet Oli (“Ollie”), the 4 year old Serbian setter who is ready to find his forever couch. Oli’s one true passion in life is professional upside down lounging, sunbathing, and cuddles from his foster family.

 

Oli is great with children, and is exceptionally gentle and patient with his foster toddler brother. He especially loves all the toddler cuddles.

He thinks it’s great fun to help and supervise with Lego constructions.

 

Oli is fully house-trained, does well on the leash, and is crate-trained. Say the magic word “kennel” to watch Oli disappear into his crate.

 

Although he does not play hard, Oli enjoys other dogs, and adores his canine foster-sister. While he is in a cat-free foster home now, he lived peacefully with a cat in Serbia before he arrived in the US.

 

When he came into our rescue from Serbia, Oli tested positive for heartworms. He underwent the recommended treatment very successfully. Even through all the invasive treatments, Oli’s easygoing personality and lover-boy attitude has never wavered.

 

His Serbian foster mom had this to say about him:
He has a wonderful temperament, he gets along well with both cats and dogs. He adores people, they love him too... He's bright and learns new things very easily - he gets extremely motivated when any kind of food is around. He likes to play with my cats. While he can sometimes chase them for fun, there is not a single trace of aggression in him.
